walking!

Well, i had Brooklyn this weekend. it was pretty fun.. it was pretty crazy. about like an hour after getting back to my place, i was playing with her and trying to help her stand up. I let go of her and she just stood there.. she had never stood that long before. i was really surprised. well, i thought "lets take it one more step" and i stepped back and reacher for her. she walked towards me! I couldnt believe it! she only took about 2 steps before falling but i was so excited. i wasnt really expecting anything but she did it. i was so proud. Her legs are still pretty weak but she'll build up her confidence soon enough. I texted Leah and asked if she had walked for her and she called me right back and was like "WHAT!?". leah hasnt even seen Brooklyn walk yet. so... I was the one to see brooklyns first steps! it was awesome. i'm so glad that i got to be the one to see it too. I missed her crawl for the first time and i felt aweful.. I have missed so much.. but I didnt miss this! YEAH!! that really made my week! and its been a tough one.. i have been having a really hard time with whats going on in life.. its been really hard to handle and depressing.. I want my old life back.. anyway.. i just thought i would write that brooklyn took her first steps.. :)

almost summer time..

wow.. its almost summer. i cant believe it. may is like half way over! geez.. Summer hockey is starting up soon. i'm glad that i'll have that to do again.. i havent really had a lot to do lately. i am always really tired so i generally relax most of the day after i get off work.. blah i'm so lazy. i have tried going out and doing stuff but people always flake on me or... well drama happens and i just end up staying at home. its easier that way.. :) it'll be nice to get back on the ice after having a few weeks with out it.. i hope i end up on a decent team this time.. :) my last team was still a lot of fun though. work has been interesting. there are several events coming up so i have been working with my distributors on getting them all signed up and qualifying and all that jazz.. monday was a hectic day.. Registration opened up for an event that is going to be in Switzerland. a lot of people are excited to go but there are a lot too that are thinking about not going because the airfare is SOOOOO high right now. i guess cheaper tickets are like 1400 a person. plus if they want to stay an extra day or so in the hotel, it costs an extra 550 per night. wow the dollar SUCKS right now. I mean.. i had a millionaire tell me that he was thinking about not going cuz it was so expensive. crazy stuff. I'm sure its going to be a super cool event though. well, i get Brookie for the weekend this week. I'm excited... i miss her like crazy lately. its tough going from having your child around constantly and then not. Well, i got a calling in church.. I'm part of the activities committee. blah.. i have never planned an activity in my life and i generally dont go to church activities either.. now i kinda have to. i have to plan a ward game night for september. that wil be interesting. i had a choice. i could either plan that or the ward christmas. party. yeah... i'm not gonna have my first activity ever planned be as big as a christmas party. NO WAY! ha ha ha.. well.. i am about out of stuff to say..

Well, we had our last game of the season last night.. we lost.. what else is new. it was a fun time though. We only had 8 players including a goalie so we played a lot! i'm still exhausted. we only had 2 people on the bench at a time. it was crazy.. well, here are just a few more pictures from the game.. :)

HOCKEY!

Well, hockey season is coming to a close.. I have been playing on a local recreational team in Provo at the peaks arena. We were just all thrown together because none of us were previously on teams. We decided to call ourselves the ninjas because of the black jerseys that we were assigned and we all wore black socks by accident on our first game. we have some good players but its taken time for everyone to really mesh together and learn how each other play.. so pretty much we loose a lot. ha ha! we had a nice physical game last night though and we really made the other team work hard. we'll most likely keep the team together for next season. i think we'll do good next time around. here are just some photos from last nights game. Here are just some cute pictures of brooklyn when she's getting tired. She's so funny.. She doesnt care about anything when she gets really sleepy.. she just stares into space, like you might notice in a few of these pictures. Sometimes all she needs is to cuddle up to a loved one and that puts her right to sleep. its so cute!

HAPPY EASTER!

Well, today was easter. I like i said earlier, i had Brooklyn All yestersday and today till about 4:00 I think she enjoyed easter. She's still a little small for all of the candy and stuff, but the easter bunny brought her stuff like crackers. she really likes crackers and cereal.. stuff like that. SHe looked SOO cute in her easter dress. I went out and bought it the yesterday. I think i did a pretty good job for being a guy.. I'm not good at picking girly stuff out but i think her dress was cute. well, here are some pictures just like i promised. Ciao..

Day one..

Well.. lets see how long i can keep up this whole blog thing.. its friday! finally. this has been a pretty slow week. I'm glad the weekend is coming. I will have Brooklyn for easter. I'm excited. I need to go get her an easter dress. She is so funny. She was only a couple of months old last easter so we didnt really bother to go all out and do the easter dress and easter basket thing. I think she'll have fun this year though. I'll be sure to take pictures and i'll probably put some on this. if i remember.. well, i'm about out of stuff to say.. Just hope i can go have some fun tonight. :) log out..
